I bought this in 1961and kept it for about 18 months when I traded it in for a brand new mini-van

1955 Vincent Black shadow series D. I owned this from 1964 to 1965 when I sold it to raise a deposit for a house. I should have kept the bike.

This picture was taken in 1964, after collecting mum from Hemel Hempstead and pulling 100mph along the Nettleden straight mile. Mum loved it.

Taken in 1995, in the Swiss alps on our way back to the UK from a Rumi Rally in Bergamo, Italy. This is where Rumi motorcycles were originally manufactured.

From 1964 to 1967 I was racing 50cc machines at various circuits in the UK. This was at Cadwell Park, Lincs in 1966 riding my Honda Hybrid. This bike was built around a one off, tubular space frame, Itom wheels and forks and a Honda 50cc push rod engine. I built this in the spare bedroom before my first daughter (Joanne) was born.

I would like to thank Paul and all of the Rumi Club members for their Birthday wishes. Especially for the Entry in the June News letter
